Gemwaith
Nid oeddwn wedi gwneud rhyw lawer o emwaith cyn i afiechyd
ac anabledd wneud he'n amhosibl i mi gadw i weithio, dim ond
gwneud rhyw freichled ar elastig a pâr neu ddau o glystdlysau
nôl pan oeddwn yn y coleg. Nid oedd yr amser y pryd hynny
i wneud unrhyw emwaith o ddifryf.
A dweud y gwir, nid oeddwn yn rhi siwr a fedrwn i wneud unrhyw
fath o emwaith oherwydd syt mae cyflwr fy mreichiau a'm dwylo
yn newyd o ddiwrnod i ddiwrnod, ond fe benderfynais rhoi tro
arni beth bynnag.
Mae yna ddiwrnodau pan rwyf yn cael hi'n amhosib i wneud dim
gemwaith, ac hyd yn oed ar y diwrnodau da nid wyf yn medri gwneud
llawer cyn i'm dwylo fethu ag ymateb fel y dyle nhw, ond mae
llawer o'r eitemau rwyf yn gwneud yn rhai bach cyflym i'w rhoi
at eu gilydd os yw'r cyfan sydd angen wedi casglu at eu gilydd
ymlaen llaw, sy'n rhoi llawer o foddhad o weld rhywbeth yn datblygu
sy'n ddigon da i'w wysgo.

i'r llawr - ma plant fy mrawd yn hoffi casgli'r cyfan lan i potiau
bach eu hunain - ac maen't yn bwriadu gwneud rhagor o emwaith
i'w mam pan fydd digon wedi casglu ganddynt - 'rwyn credu yr
hoffen nhw i fi golli mwy i'r llawr er mwyn iddynt hwy cael wneud
fwy o bethau gyda nhw.

Jewellery
I hadn't made much jewellery before worsening health and disabilities
made it impossible for me to keep on working, only made a bracelet
on elastic and a pair or two of earrings back when I was in college.
Back then there wasn't the time to put to taking jewellery making
seriously.
To tell you the trouth, I didn't know whether I'd be able
to make any sort of jewellery because the condition of my hands
and arms fluctuate from day to day, but I decided to give it
a try in any case.
There are days when I find it impossible to make any jewellery,
and even on my good days I can't make a lot before my hands start
not responding as they should, but many of the items I make are
reasonably quick to do if everything is collected together and
sorted ahead of time, so I get a lot of satisfaction from seeing
something develop that's pretty enough to ware.
And what does it matter if I loose my grip on some of the
beads and lose them on the floor - my brother's two boys love
to collect them all up intot heir own pots - and they intend
to make more jewellery for their mother when they've collected
enough - I think they actually want me to drop some more so that
they can make more jewellery themselves.
